My a1 Review For Wildlife Photographers

I shot number of Brahminy kites that were diving for worms ( in a silk worm farm) & in one of the series I shot 157 frames & all the shots seemed ok though some of the focus points were not on the bird.I stopped when my hands got tired.I shot in medium speed @1/2000.I was around 30 to 40 ft when i started shooting & must have been 200 to 300 ft at the farthest
It had no issue picking up the focus when the bird emergerd from behind an obstacle
I was really blown over by its stickly bird eye AF & really gained confidence that it delivers.I am yet to see my other series shot over past 3 days

As a new a1 owner and now totally addicted to Steve’s YouTube channel and now reading his books I’m so looking forward to a a1 setup guide. Coming from a simple a6400 to a1 is for sure a handful.
I am planning on a setup guide. I'm going to have a video and plan on a for-sale PDF with more detailed info. I reconfigured my a1 on this last trip to Africa and I really think it's dialed in now for wildlife. The setup allows me to be really fast and, as far as I know, I'm the only one using the camera this way :) (At least I haven't seen any setup videos even close to the way I have it setup.) Can't wait to share it!

Sign me up! I’ve been tweaking my settings as well and I’m sure I’m a long way from maximizing its speed.
