I got this image in Costa Rico in 2011 and I cannot find the name in my Costa Rico bird book. When I google yellow breasted Costa Rico birds I get nothing. Hopefully someone here might know.

But isn't the Yellow-throated euphonia more blue than the brownish color here. Attached is a Yellow-throated Euphonia I got down there.

I consulted your doubt with my guide and friend from Costa Rica, Fernando Burgalin. He confirms to me that he is indeed a juvenile of "Yellow-throated Ephonia". If someone wants to hire his services, he is one of the best in his country, just let me know and I will contact him.
