I've noticed recently that all the practice of and focus on shooting birds in flight has led to my eyes freezing the action when I'm out and about sans camera. Meaning when I see a bird land or flit from branch to branch, etc. My eyes freeze these micro moments of their wings spread in various framings (if you will) and it's quite beautiful and enjoyable.
