*reference to the Robert Rodriguez movie "From Dusk Till Dawn", great watch for the upcoming Halloween.

Also, since I can't add more than 5 images in a post, the fake tits I mentioned above...

Bearded reedlings used to be part of the tit family, then they got in the the parrotbill family and now the have their own, one species family, the Panuridae. In my part of the world we still call them bearded tits :D.

Such a nice collection of tits!

The first bearded tit is fantastic 😍 I hope I will finally be able to see and photograph some of them this winter.
The blue tit images have amazing light as well!

Is it alright if I contribute with two tits as well? Not the most fancy ones but still quite nice looking 😎
I will delete the images if not wanted!

Great shots!

Thank you :).

Very beautiful series! The last one seems to be more sociable than true tits?

The reedlings were quite sociable. There were 4 of them, 2 males (with the black mark) and 2 females (like in the second photo) and they were foraging for food. Usually, the males would flank the females like bodyguards (the fact that they got so close was rare). They tolerated me quite well from about 10m distance as long as I didn't do any sudden moves.
If any large bird would pass above them, they would scatter in the reeds, except one of the males who would remain as in the first picture, keeping watch. Once the coast was clear, he would give the signal and everybody would get back to foraging.

Nice series.
Thank you.

Thank you. I really like your images. The blue tit one really makes me feel the cold and the great tit one has a dreamy quality to it.

All images of tits are welcomed here :D. As long as we keep it family friendly ;).

The bearded tits look so funny!!! We have bushtits and Titmice here :).
Instead of saying something is "a bunch of BS", hubby and I say "this is a bunch of bushtits!"

Hahahaha :) well, if you have some pics of bushtits and titmice that you want to share, feel free to post them here.

StefanSC, this is my first picture :). I just got my Nikon D500 and I am still learning about photography (starting with the basics - got several of Steve's e-books and watch a lot of youtube videos). I've been taking pics in our backyard. I am very intimidated since I am a beginner and everybody here posts such awesome pics. But anyway, here are two pictures of the bushtits :). They are so fast and never sit still! They come through in groups of 10-20 birds looking for bugs on trees, eat some of the suet and poof - they are gone. They usually stay less than a minute.
