The weather here in England has been lousy these last few days with rain & dark skies, but I was fortunate enough to have a visit from this adult & juvenile Great Spotted Woodpeckers on the feeders in my garden.
I had to get the camera out a bit quick so please excuse the feeders in the image but I was really chuffed to get this one.
They were amazing to watch & certainly are agile little buggers!
Hope you like it.View attachment 20892

Thanks Robert.
It was lovely to watch, but I just wish the bird feeder wasn't in it & the quality was a bit better, but to be honest although I didn't nail the shot I just enjoyed the moment, it was lovely to watch. :)

I see them in the forest, but mostly can't get close enough as they are shy and staying high above the ground. Love you shoot and to see how they have found to use your feeder

Thanks Neils.
I’m fortunate enough to live near to a wood so get them on the feeder after the nuts.
I did manage to get a few without the feeders in of the adult feeding the juvenile & hope to post those soon.
