Does anyone know of a good stable way to mount nt an iPad Pro to my camera mount? I googled several different wordings and I kept getting tripod mounts and clamps FOR the iPad not to add to my camera tripod.

A bit confused by ‘camera mount’.
Are you wanting to mount a iPad and camera to your tripod simultaneously?
If so, you need (these are search terms on Amazon, refine as you will):
1. ipad tripod mount
2. articulating arm camera

These two will do if your tripod has a 1/4” threaded hole at it's apex below where the camera attaches. I’ve used a similar, smaller clamp to mount an old Android phone I used to run qdslrdashboard (a remote control program for focus stacking with a D750). The arm will hold my small version 1 iPad Pro safely.
If your tripod doesn’t have that threaded 1/4” hole, you’ll need a clamp for the tripod leg, google: SMALLRIG Super Clamp with 1/4 and 3/8 Thread.

Again, if this isn’t what you meant, please clarify for me.

I often have to go to the car to get my ipad to show someone images I took while I am out with my camera and tripod. was wondering if there was a reliable way to mount the ipad to the tripod while I use the camera on the gimbal.

Then what I described will work. I also tried an arm that is a gooseneck tube. It’s strong enough, just didn’t work for my application.

Hi Astro Ed
Neewer make a product called Tablet holder mount , it hold tablets / ipad from 7'" upwards that just clips on to the tripod leg. I have never used one but they be what you are after and the add I saw on amazon or ebay they are only around $40.00 Aus dollars

There are iPad mounts for microphone stands that might work. Musicians use them for lyrics/music.
