AFP-70-300 FX lensusing a D 750

Has anybody used this lens with the above camera, with updated software? I find with CPL landscape shots become a pain. Yes, I check the histogram and then generally find ISO or Aperture is out after taking the shot. I haven't found this problem with my other lenses, including a 150-600 mm. I now tend to leave off the CPL. With flight shots it is good. Can AF-P work well with older modelsAny thoughts would be gratefully accepted.

I don't own a D750, but my 70-300 AF-P FX works nicely on my D 7100, which is what I think you are asking about as an "older model".(?) I did upgrade my software to the latest version. If you want to know for sure, call 1-800-NIKONUSA ..the service number, and the tech will give the answer. Good luck!:)
