Do any of you use Apple AirTags, Tiles, or some other Bluetooth tracking devices in you camera bags or checked bags when traveling. They probably aren't of much use in gear bags since for most of us those never leave our grasp, but they may be useful for checked luggage. From what I have read the Apple AirTags are allowed under FAA regulations and Apple says they meet all international travel rules.
I bring this up based on a friends experience traveling during the Southwest issues after Christmas. Their flights to St. Louis were cancelled but their luggage made in on time, go figure. They eventually made it to St. Louis on a different airline and were directed to a warehouse near St. Louis to search for their luggage. It took them several hours to locate their luggage in the warehouse.
I am traveling to Nashville soon and I am going to try an AirTag in my luggage to see how it works.
