Here is the best closeup I got of a brownie...while we were living in the RV we went in 15 to Alaska and I flew down to Katmai NP...you land on the beach and have to be gone before big tide as the runway disappears. Close to but not Brooks Falls...30 miles away I guess. The 6 of us were standing on a grass hump that we paced out at about 18 feet from the edge of the water and he passed between us and the water. Luckily he was fishing and like the other dozen or so we saw that day habituated to people.

Awesome !👍😎👍
Thanks...he kept giving us the eagle eye stare as he walked past but he was fishin‘ as they say down south. Probably got 300 or more images that day and this was one of the better ones. I ran it through the new feature to upssmple it in PS the other day to see how it worked and it did improve the shot. It’s definitely a wildlife shot to me...following up on t(e other thread. He knew we were ther and was clearly used to seeing people close up as he had no issues casually walking by us. Our pilot had his hand on the bear spray (no firearms allowed in the NP) just in case. The rule is that you can’t legally approach them closer than 75 yards...but there’s no rangers to enforce that...we were the only plane on the beach when we landed and saw nobody outside of the 6 of us. Unfortunately...either the rules aren’t posted or the bears didn’t bother reading them as most of the ones we saw were closer than 75 yards and outside of this one most of them didn’t even look our way much...we were just part of the scenery.
I need to look at the posting again and see why thee are two copies...clicked the image icon, selected the file, clicked the full size button and got 2 copies.
