Last night nature put up quite a show, the sky exploded with northern lights and I had to get out with my camera.

All images taken with the Nikon Z6ii and the 14-30mm f/4.

So unbelievable to see. Lucky you. We saw them south here one time in Northern California about 10 yrs ago, only time in my life. Stayed awake and just stared at something 1/10 th as great as that. Now I stare at a neighbor's motion detector light. Not fair but you are definitely colder as a trade off!

Yeah, I’m grateful to live in a part of the world that gets this view regulary. It was such a great experience that I forgot how cold it was.

Some more images from this night.

I was wrong in my first post, all images was taken with the Z 24-70 f/4 S and not the 14-30.
