I really like what you did here—the lighting and detail are very well done!!
I love peonies and was intrigued by your title. A profile....? B&W ???? Each a creative decision.
And it works marvelously!!!! Agree with Peter about trying a 90° rotation.....that might be a winner also!

So glad you liked it. Peonies are beautiful flowers for that great late Spring splash of color. And when they are fat buds they attract ants for interesting macro poses.
