Some great photo opportunities are often just steps from the back door. That aligns well with my generally lazy attitude 😉 Here’s one that actually was taken from my front doorstep.

Wow that's a nice backyard photo. These are my favorite threads.
Here is one of mine from 2018, Cooper's Hawk on the Sagebrush

Fantastic images guys! Those are some great back yard visitors.

Here's a cow and calf Moose that stopped by our tiny back yard to browse on the rose bushes and hang out during an early season snow storm. Was pretty surprised to look out the bedroom window and see this pair just twenty some odd feet away.

Nice GHO!

We get some cool silhouettes at sunset sometimes.
We have been seeing this buck for about 4 years and those horns keep getting more twisted each year. Haven't seen him since he lost this set.

A young Red Shouldered Hawk came to visit over the summer. They are common in our neighborhood, but this one spent the morning using our garage as a hunting perch, and swooping down on lizards and insects in the yard. Fun to watch and fun to photograph!

I caught this Cooper's Hawk on top of one of my feeder's one day. As I was moving to improve the background she jumped down into the sagebrush. The finches were going crazy at that time. Moving closer I saw her staring back at me through the brush and managed to get this photo.

I'm not sure why exactly but your Bobcat here reminds me of our little rescue doggy "Elmer". Quite an expressive face he has. (y)
