The best camera for photos is the one you have with you. Flying out of Dubai to Jeddah last night. As we started to taxi I saw a gorgeous sunset. Unfortunately, my phone was turned off and all I had available was my Gen1 9.7 iPad Pro. The camera is not much to write home about.
The sun was setting, there was haze over the city, the colors were gorgeous but the sun was so bright I knew it would be blown out. Since we were taxiing (Shot 1) and taking off (Shots 2-5), it was a take the shot now or miss it. The colors were intense but shooting through an airplane window did not help.
I have made adjustments in LrC to recover something from the jpegs and plan to keep working to improve what I can. All shots cropped and otherwise adjusted.
The tall building is the Burj Khalifa - currently tallest in the world (828m/2717ft)
PS - Been otherwise occupied for a bit, but now back online.
