The cormorants are so fast and fly so low that I usually have a hard time getting a decent shot of them. Here is one just after take-off.

Hi Peter! Famous for?? - You mean besides the wit, gay abandon, and sparkling repartee? I am a "dinky die Aussi" and have the certificate to prove it! We'll have to meet up when they let you lot out of Melbourne. It is an amazing thing that you have done. Locking down a city of almost 4 million people and getting daily cases down to 5. The rest of US AUSTRALIANS are very proud of you.

We're in the phone book, so give me a call after things open up. The migratory waders will be in the Western Treatment Plant (Ramsar site for other viewers). That is half way between us.

Hi Venkatesh, hope I do not offend. The Goose is much better than a Grey lag certainly for us in Britain, it's a Bar-headed Goose and well taken
