Black Bear moving through the sage brush in Grand Teton N.P.

Decided to take a quick ride over to the park this morning. Had a nice 3 bear morning. 2 Black bears and a grizz.

Nice shot.
Thanks so much 🙌
Great shot; love the composition!
Thank you 😁
That's a great shot, Bill. Looks like a fair sized bear. You realize 800mm is just for birds right?
Thanks Dan. Also keeps me from being featured on the next what not to do video from the park service.
Excellent shot👍👍👍 Bill, must be nice to roll out of bed and take a quick drive over to Grand Teton NP. Boy do I envy you.
Thanks Ralph. Just an hour to the Moran junction entrance. Close enough for a quick trip, far enough that we don't get crowds. The bonus is that the ride over is spectacular.

Excellent image, Bill. When I first read that I thought it said, "3 BEER morning." and I thought to myself, this guy really enjoys his photography, but I quickly realized my error. 😌

"Thanks Dan. Also keeps me from being featured on the next what not to do video from the park service." That cracked me up a little!

Thanks. Believe it or not I saw a couple of people who ran to spots way too close. Lucky for them this big guy was more interested in eating the sage and turned and walked away.
A wonderful shot!
Thank you!
Excellent image, I always like the shots in the sagebrush out there.
Thanks, it's healthy right now with all the moisture we've had.

I see a lot of black bear photos that fail to make me stop and say “I like that image”. It seems this is an animal that is difficult to capture in an eye catching photo. I really like this one Bill!
