Interested on your thoughts re the colour scheme

The colors are lovely- but: Any possibility of lightening the bird? Seems a little dark with such a bright background. IOW the background light is overpowering the subject, to my eye.
I second the post above. The colors are great, especially the matching beak and eye ring and how that stands out against the background but a bit of gentle dodging of the bird or perhaps some shadow recovery might bring out some feather detail as long as you don't overdo it.

Nice composition and good contrast between the green background and the blackbird. Maybe I'd like a notch more space behind the tail. When I see blackbird IRL they don't present details in feathers, the black just seems to absorbs reflection so I do not recommend increasing shadow recovery
