Forest fires in Canada have sent smoke to our region. Yesterday afternoon it was thick in the air at ground level and I could smell the strong odor like it burning nearby. By evening, the smell had dissipated somewhat and when I saw the almost full moon high overhead, I had to grab a shot. There is no such thing as just grabbing a shot for me, so I ended up with the tripod, 600 f4 with 1.4 tc and a D850.
This is SOOC and looks as it did to my eye.
