Camera is getting too heavy!

I use a Z7 and 500mm PF, very light. I'm 60 with rheumatoid arthritis, so that is important for me too. The Z50 is even lighter, but I find the Z7 to be more balanced with the PF, and if I want the extra reach I can just put it in DX mode (which I do a lot).

Lets see if this excel table I made will post: It shows weights nd prices of various Nikon combinations.

This is a great chart.

After reading the charts and looking at my combination of bodies and lenses, I have decided the only way to get lighter is to loose weight. I added an additional dimension, my weight plus the equipment. Yikes, My diet starts tomorrow!

Many years ago i decided I had to lose some weight. After consulting the recommended height-weight table, I decided I wasn't overweight, I was under tall. All I needed was about another 3 inches....

I had a talk with someone a few weeks ago. He went with a mirrorless full frame without integrated grip, 70-200, and teleconverters to get extra reach. Much lighter.

You might also get lighter shoes, clothes, hat, camera bag... leave your watch and glasses at home...
