Yes, but you'll likely be left with software that is a hassle to use when you purchase a camera released after that date. Edit: Now I see that my statement is incorrect. It appears that itwill just cost you more to update your software in the future.

It appears that Capture One is headed in a direction that I might not like to join them on.

I just purchased the Nikon version less than a week before the announcement. Not interested in the Pro version at all. So another $200 wasted.

I'm not overly disappointed. I had the trial version of ver 22 but never got around to really trying to learn ON1. After using LR forever I could process my photos without even thinking very much about what I was doing. ON1 was a challenge for me to learn. I can see some nice features but LR is not overly different except for learning their process. So I have one year to either learn to appreciate ON1 or just forget it and stay concentrating On LR . I just purchased a Wacom Intuit Pro graphics medium tablet so I have another challenge t o learn. After using a mouse since the 80's I have a lot of muscle memory to try to overlook.
