Love your waxwings. Used to see occasionally at house on pool edge in fall but haven't seen in years around here in northern California. Thank you for sharing them.

Interesting ! I am in SW British Columbia and we also get cedar waxwings but in greater numbers in the spring and summer. However, this winter we've seen a number of bohemian waxwings on the coast, which is unusual.

What a beautiful bird! Unfortunately, I don't think we have those in Kentucky. Our Cedarwaxings seem to be here year round, I just don't see them very often.

Very nice shots. Beautiful. Was within minutes of sunset (so no pics) when I came upon two huge flocks of these birds feeding on the berries of a couple types of trees in the deep cold here a couple weeks ago.

Thank you! These were in the afternoon. We were trying to sneak up on some ducks when this flock landed right in front of us. I like when my quarry finds me.

I have only been able to get Waxwings once and that was long distance. Hopefully one of these days I can get some like these shots.
