Common Birds Still Worth a Shot

Here are a few common birds (at least here in Oklahoma) that are so good-looking that they are still worth a shot when they put themselves in a good location. Hope you like them - even if you have seen them before.

great shots. While the male Northern Cardinal gets all the attention, I think the female is one of the most beautiful birds we have.

I am an advocate of photographing and sharing pics of even the most common birds and other animals. These are excellent shots of beautiful birds! 😊
 
I love taking wildlife pictures. If it has a heartbeat and posts an opportunity, I am going to take a shot.

Also, what is common for you to see, not so much for me in this part of the world (except for the heron, those things seem to be everywhere :p ).

Absolutely. I'm visiting family in Colorado soon. I'm sure people there are used to seeing the Stellar Jays but they are on my list for birds I want to photograph while I'm there.
