My wife alerted me that there was huge bird over the back fence, I quickly went in pursuit.
I did not see whatever the huge bird was (suspect a Wedge-tailed Eagle) but 2 Common Bronzewing Pigeons were flushed from feeding on the ground with one taking up a reasonable pose on a relatively close branch.
Have been wanting to get shots of these birds showing off the iridescent colouring on their feathers, pity there was no bright sunlight but I was happy with what I was able to capture.
