'Creative' montage editing in wildlife photography

Here is an image that i edited as a montage for creative effect. I took a single burst of shots of this kingfisher in flight, kept them in sequence, but moved position of the bird to create a sweeping curve which was more pleasing to my eye. I'm interested in how others feel about this kind of editing within the wildlife photography idiom.

I like. And I think that you did a good job in editing and post processing. I would not necessarily want a wall of images like this as that would be too busy for me, but one or two certainly catch the eye and make for a key image in a series.

I love it. A friend did this with Bald Eagle images, and it is stunning. Well done.

You caught a great sequence on a tough bird to shoot like this. For me, I would take the 1st 4 birds (all facing to the right) and arrange them in a little more diagonal manner. I would also use only the top portion of the background as the banded background is distracting to me.

Nice job on the composite. I'd seek one more image to complete the circle, making the starting point ambiguous.

this is lovely and I can see many uses for this technique, its not in my repetoire (yet) but having seen this its something id like to experiment with. I can't fault it but if I were really picky the bright band in the background could be considered a distraction, but I do really love it
