On the right I would crop the big tree all the way out. On the left crop out the 3 smaller trees. On the bottom crop to above the big rock. If you have Photoshop the brightness layer or curves layer to bring the darks behind the waterfall up a bit and brighten the waterfall. The edge of a frame already draws the eye, and more so when there is something prominent at the edge, so a prominent edge object better add to and frame the main area of interest.

Gives a nice feel of a quiet woodland stream, wouldn't mind pausing a hike to soak my feet and have a snack.

I agree on cropping the bottom a bit. I’m a fan of negative space in photos, but the empty space there seems to distract. Otherwise, I really like the verticals behind the waterfall.

I also like the crop better. Something about the left edge that is distracting and I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe all the forest floor on the right and the abrupt stop on the rocks on the left. Can you “move” the image a bit to the left? Yes it would “violate the rule of thirds” but rules are made to be broken. I think I would crop the right about half way from where it is now and the tree with the crooked base. Then open the left side back up a bit. I would not change anything too or bottom unless there is a specific aspect ratio you need to have.

I'm not quit sure I understand all your saying but think I get the jest of it. I'll play around a little more with the crop and adjustment of the photo. Thanks

I think you might be seeing, that on the right side, the soil, the nearest tree, and the face of the nearest rock are all a bit darker than the left side. It doesn’t necessarily bother me (I probably only really noticed it because I went looking for it).
Maybe if the canopy, and the sky peeking through was a bit darker, that right might not be noticeable. Again, only because I went looking for something.
I like it.

That is actually a light fog in the trees behind the main falls. The sun is coming through the leaves in beams making them look yellow, wish I could have figured out how to make the sun beams stand out more. These falls are in a fairly deep valley surrounded by hills.

I know it is mossy but it looks too green to me. I struggle with this on my own photos, it is very apparent when I go back and look at older images.

I think a WB adjustment would help here and move the tint towards magenta slightly.

I think it is a nice photo. (y)

Just for future shots, I would have shot this at up to -1 EV. The greens in this image are slightly over exposed. Under exposing would result in much richer/deeper greens.
