D500 LCD Question

I just got my used D500 today and everything seems to work great but when I hit the Info button the info screen that is displayed appears quite dim in comparison to the menus and Liveview mode. I tried finding a setting that allowed me to turn the brightness of it up but all I found was the option to turn up the brightness of the LCD screen which didn't seem to help when turned up. Is this just my camera or is the info screen on the D500 just darker than the menus by default? Is there maybe a menu setting I'm not seeing to change it?

Is it set to white letters on a dark background or dark letters on a white background? In the setup menu you can change this under “Information display”. You can choose either a dark or light background or have it set to auto which will switch between the two options depending on the lighting around you. The light background option is bright but the dark background option is a bit dimmer since that’s technically the “low light” option.

Thanks! I found that setting after creating this thread and I came to the same conclusion, that the white on black was dimmer because it's the default for low light.
