These are very, very nice! Are all these varieties near you? We live on a lake in Tn, but no dragons or damsels here.
Thank you. It turns out SE Arizona has a lot of Damselflies. These were all "lifers" for me. The electric blue Cerruelean ends up being rarely recorded in Arizona and only
at Patagonia Lake State Park, so was really lucky to see it (not that I knew that when I took photos LOL). :)

Beautiful. Not sure if it was just me and where I frequented, but I saw less than a dozen damsels or dragonflies this past season. Alarming. Conditions have been very, very dry here.

Thank you. It was great, four species in about 2 hours of sitting and seeing what would show. Here fortunately we had a good monsoon season, so there have been lots of damsels and dragonflies. At the start of the summer I had no idea how many species there are. Of the four above, 2 were new to me. Can hardly wait for winter to go away. LOL

They are just more diverse than I realized! Bought a book on Damselflies and Dragonflies of Arizona and Sonora and it's pretty impressive as to species. :)
