Do you ever find your shutter speed or aperture accidentally changed

I find if I walk with the camera turned on, using a black rapid strap, I occasionally will accidentally bump the shutter speed or aperture.

I have resorted to locking both the aperture and shutter speed so this can not happen. I put the lock on the QUAL button since I shoot in Raw 99.9+% of the time.

No but I do seem to accidentally rotate a dial that move my iso out of auto and for a second wonder why my viewfinder is so dark. I don’t often adjust iso so I either need to figure out how to lock it and add to a quick menu or change how it’s set altogether.

What annoys me is the camera resetting to start up settings out of the blue. I guess something times out. I have to have a habit of scanning the settings quickly when bringing the camera to the eye. Probably should do that anyway.

I've experience that issue before. Not sure what I did to cause it. I put the aperture lock and shutter speed lock options in My Menu for quicker access if and when needed, albeit it's not on page one of My Menu.

I have had that issue when carrying two cameras on a dual strap configuration. I believe the control dial on my Nikon D500 was catching on my pants pocket or rubbing against my leg with enough force to roll the dial. I can usually correct the issue if I shorten the strap a little.

Rare problem for me. More common is turning the knob the wrong way when I'm in a hurry. My fingers get dumb, sometimes. :)
Yes. I use "Easy Compensation" in Aperture priority and this makes things backwards which shooting in manual. I know you can switch the way the dials work but... 😊
