It was a miserable day, gray and dreary, and the rain had recently stopped when a phoebe landed on a snag in the yard.

Oh yeah, nice. I like these birds. There's a couple that nest under the deck at our cottage every Spring. But we only visit there every second weekend in Spring and for two years we missed the babies. This Spring at present we're into week four of a six-week stay-at-home order here in Ontario. I'm afraid I may have missed them again by the time we get back there.
