I was watching the body language exchange between this young buck and a mature buck that was bedded nearby when I captured this brief exchange between him and a doe. The sequence of shots that I have show the excitement and nervousness between the three deer as the Rut was beginning. Photo was taken in a place Steve and I both love for wildlife “Cades Cove”.
