My first moose. First is as-shot. The second I have attempted to remove the out of focus plant material from the foreground. Still trying to minimize the distraction of the yellow green hue on the water.
Any specific suggestions or general comments much appreciated.

Beautiful guy! I like the removal of the foreground foliage. I'm not distracted so much by the colour of the water but by the lack of separation between the water and grass, and the moose. I'd try to bring up the detail in the moose (face anyway) and bring down the exposure on the water and background -- all of which are some of the very few things I'm able to do in PhotoShop, so maybe don't take PP advice from me :)

Congrats on the first moose. Steven made some good comments/suggestions. At right of frame there are some cloning artifacts with repeated patterns in the grass. Also you might want to remove that one last bright spot at upper right. Overall I'd say well done.

Hello Steve & Dan,
Thank you both. Your suggestions make a significant improvement to my eye, particularly the selective change in exposure. It really helps with the moose detail but also helps with reducing my objection to the green hue on the water. Thanks again.
