For a change, the front yard. My Granddaughter came into my bedroom a few minutes ago and said "Papa, there are a bunch of Robins in the trees in the front yard". I grabbed my old D500 and Tamron lens, ran (well, walked ) downstairs and got a few pics before they flew and I was especially Blessed to see two Cedar Waxwings in the next tree. One was too blocked but did get one shot of the other before they flew. First ever Waxwings that I know of in my yard. Guess I gotta look out front more often. Adding the Waxwings to my spread sheet brings my total to 47 for the different birds I've captured in my yard in the 5 or so years I've been photographing them. My first January Robins too, I believe. D500/Tammy 150-600 (G1), handheld.
