Does anyone use a soft, zippered case to store your FTZ II or TCs that you highly recommend? I'm currently carrying my TCs in a fabric lens pouch, and my FTZ II is just in a compartment of my camera case. I'd like a padded zipper case that is about the same size as the components I want to store. I've found cases similar to what I want in the store, but they are much larger than I prefer.

I found several different products on Amazon such as this manufacturer which has several different sizes of rigid case available and there are other products which are padded but soft and may be semi-collapsable for storage when not in use:

Camera Lens Case DSLR Camera Lens Bag Fits for Canon EF 28mm f1.8 EF 24mm f 2.8EF 50mm F 1.8Ⅱ Nikon 35mm f1.8G 50mm f 1.8D 50mm f1.8 G50mm f 1.4 and other Camera Lens

The smallest case from these folks (also on Amazon) would probably hold an FTZ II and both Z tc's:

Powerextra 4x Zipper Lens Case Lens Pouch Bag with Thick Protective Neoprene for DSLR Camera Lens Fit for CA Nikon Sony Olympus Panasonic Includes Small Medium Large XL Size

I have been looking for a TC and FTZ case as well. I currently have a small zippered soft case that I purchased with the item below and I have contacted the company to see if they would sell the cases individually. It is the perfect size of a TC 1.4 or a FTZ adapter. I no longer use the leveler but I use the case for a TC.

Here is the item, look at the images and you will see the case that is include. I have also been searching Amazon for zippered EVA case and have found some rectangular cases that might work, there are a number of sizes to choose from.

Op/Tech USA makes a variety of neoprene pouches. The smallest "Fold Over Pouch" fits a 2.0 F TC quite well. A little loose but usable on the 1.4. I don't have the Z equivalents to compare.

I use classic leather cases. Some have zips, otherwise a clipping stud flap or lid

I have the optech mini for my FTZ II and 1.4 TC and there is a pretty good fit and the pouches are well padded.

Someone on a forum once suggested a fishing reel pouch to hold TC's and I've found that to be perfect. If you look on Amazon you can find a wide variety, in neoprene and other materials. Just have to check the sizes (some come in a variety of sizes) to make sure it fits your TC/FTZ.

The fly fisherman in me is disappointed that I didn't think of that. Good call!

When I found myself with two Z teleconverters and two F-mount teleconverters I started looking for a small waist bag. As I use a LowePro Trekker backpack for my 600mm f/4 and will use it with the 800mm lens I wanted a small waist bag. One that looked good was the Manfrotto 2L Street Camera waist bag (10.2 x 5.1 x 2.8 inches) that sells for $40 at B&H. The Manfrotto has 4 interior compartments that should be able to hold 4 teleconverters.

What I ended up buying was a Kinesis A634 Reporter's waist pack that is 7.5 x 11.75 x 4 inches. The Kinesis has exterior pockets that I use for lens cleaners and small filters and a shutter release cable.

If you want a small belt bag or equivalent look at Peak Design. I have one of their pouches and sling bags. Check out new or used Field Pouches or Sling Bags. They come in different sizes. Buy one used and save some $$.
