Going To the Serengeti

I am going to the Serengeti in January. I was on the Pangolin 10 Day Photo Safari in Botswana in July of 2022. My plans are to bring my Z9 and D850. I currently do not have any Z lens. I have been using the Nikon adapter with the following lens, Nikon 24 to 70 2.8, Nikon 70 to 200 2.8 with a Nikon 1.4 teleconverter and a Sigma 60 to 600 4.5 to 6.3. I know that low light conditions come into play in the early morning and early evening. My current plans are to use the 70 to 200 2.8 and switch in the 1.4 or 1.7 TC when light conditions allow. But I have been thinking about the Z 100 to 400 4.5 to 5.6. But was concerned about not having enough versatility in lower light conditions. Any experiences with the Z100 to 400 in low light conditions? A Z8 is not in the cards right now, if I were to buy the Z 100 to 400. Thank You
