As Dan (NorthernFocus) mentioned in his awesome Barred Owl thread we went out this morning. We went to Magnolia Plantation & Gardens in Charleston, Souths Carolina. I'll post something different (haven't processed much at all yet) so here is one, a Great Blue in flight. They usually came from the nest to find more nesting materials and or food to bring back. This one was so close it just fit in the frame, not cropped at all.

Thanks very much! It really is an awesome spot especially the Audubon Swamp area where this was taken! Never took the boat tour either but one of these days!

I missed seeing this one. That's an awesome shot. Excellent detail. And you can't beat it when they drag a wing tip. The 800mm worked well there.
