Thanks Marc. Googled the Mary River, sounds like a beaut place to go too. These fish can get up to 60 kg they say. Must give you a good fight on the line. Does not seem they have the slashers of our Tiger Fish! Enjoy your trip when you go. We trust, DV, to go to Kgalagadi in May! Take care!

An excellent fighting fish indeed @Callie and not easy to hook up due to their aerial/jumping antics!
Our Barramundi are a distant relative to the Nile Perch and to the casual observer almost identical. Nile Perch can attain weights of 110 kg.
