Hiking the Shingle Creek Trail

This morning I hiked the Shingle Creek Trail in Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, UT.
It's a 12 mile out and back trail.
But I could only go about 2 1/2 miles before encountering a waterfall going across the trail and no easy way to get past it.
Before that there was lots of deep snow, mud and water.
None of that lessened my enjoyment of this hike and admiring how beautiful it was.

Looks like great country for hiking! With spring run-off, won't the waterfall get even bigger?

Looks like great country for hiking! With spring run-off, won't the waterfall get even bigger?

The hiking here is excellent and probably at it's best in late summer and fall.
Not sure how much snow is left up top but if temps warm up more it certainly could gt bigger.
