How Do I Check IBIS on Nikon Z6

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

With an F-mount lens on the FTZ, the lens VR switch controls IBIS too.
So you can shoot a scene at a very slow speed with IBIS/VR on and then off and compare the shots.

You can actually hear it. Turn VR on and put your ear right to the back of the camera. Then, shut VR off and try again. The lens is going to make noise, but I know I can hear IBIS - it sounds much "closer" if that makes sense.

Also, my guess if that if it wasn't working, you'd get an error message of some sort.

Too many rock concerts for me (and I'm sure my approaching 7-Oh has something to contribute too  ) but those sounds are hard to detect!
