I'm hoping the good people on the forum may be able to help with a bird ID question. The bird below I think is a Woodlark, mainly due to a couple of, what I think are diagnostic characteristics, i.e. facial markings, slender bill, light / dark pattern near bend of wing, perched and stubby tail. Added to that the overall habitat I couldn't think of anything else, it would be a first for me and I'm a bit rubbish sorting out the likes of Larks and Pipits as the differences can be so very subtle. Thanks for any help.
