Absolutely I will keep my D850. After some soul searching I did sell off my D500 last week which I really loved.

IMHO a clear yes. I actually bought one used in October 2020 and didn't regret it a single moment. By now the "good old brick" is used side by side with a D850 and it is still able to shine when the right moment comes. If I really need to push the limits with lighting conditions, it finds its way to the rear end of the long gun. Despite older electronics (Expeed 4 instead of 5 in the D850) and the older 51 sensor AF, it is still able to do amazing things. There are actually some people that went back to the D4s after trying a D5. Numbers are not everything, but if you look at a comparison you can see what "the old brick" is able to do. "Low" resolution means big sensor pixels and this is still the best measure to avoid Hi ISO noise ;). If you look at the 18% SNR chart for screen, you'll notice that the D4s is still roughly 1 stop better here compared to the D5 and that is visible. Of course if you look at the print mode comparison, where images are downsampled to comparable resolution, this is not an issue any more, but to me that is comparing apples with oranges.

From my perspective the biggest disadvantage o the D4s is the shutter noise level, so when I am shooting "shy fur" sometimes I have to use Quiet mode and the D4s doesn't have a Qc mode like the D850. Apart from that I would never let mine go - unless I get the lottery jackpot one day and can afford to get a Z9  .

There is a lot of sense in what your saying, while my D850 is the reason a sold my D4s D5 i still would have a D4s any day, i just took back the capital while the market was still strong stayed with the D850 that with compremises tollerable made teh D4s D5 obsolete, recently ordered a Z9, while duplicating the D850 somewhat the view is that if the Z9 doesn't add to what i do tangibly its on ebay.
For me tracking is not essential i prefer to be in control, i have used the Sony A9 and the tracking was excellent but i still prefer to track the subject my self even if i miss a few.
Long live the D4s
