The North Yorkshire Moors Railway run special steam train journeys just before Christmas each year, these were some of the last train journeys of 2022.

Nice, I've always liked steam engine locomotives, and I've have ridden in the cab and in the passenger car. It's different than a diesel or electric locomotive. Thanks for the memories.

At the end of all the trains was a diesel electric locomotive, probably there as a means to take some load from the steam engine so it lasts a bit longer.

Great photo's. !! very nostalgic !!, I would quite often be taken to and from school on/by the "City of Truro " . First train to travel at 100 m.p.h. !!
