Adobe finally released LRc in native M1 form and it was fast before, but this is another big step forward for some key processes, whether import, export and processing - they are all visibly faster. I am sure others will measure the differences and try and validate the 50% improvement claims from Adobe but just using it this morning really made a visible difference. Most tasks are bordering instantaneous now (and I edit D850 raws, so fairly sizable).
The one thing I am not seeing much of an improvement on is how fast previews render when going from Fit to 100% view with a D850 raw file. The M1 is much faster than my previous iMac but it's still a task that feels a bit laggy compared to the rest of the experience with LRc and the new Lightroom M1 version doesn't seem any faster. Maybe that will come with the M1X or M2 or whatever is next...
