Taken in Naples, FL at Freedom Park a few years back. Gear was Sony A580 with Minolta 70-210 "Beercan" lens

Lovely shot with nice detail of a beautiful bird. I personally think it need a bit more room to the right for it to look into. If this is a crop, I find it a bit tight. If not a crop, then maybe add some canvas to the right side .

That's not a Little Blue Heron, but a Tri-colored Heron. As for the shot, I like it.
Overall it's a solid shot. I think the light is a bit bright / harsh (just the time of day) and I do agree about possibly extending the camas a bit for more space in front of his bill.

Thanks for all of the comments. I agree a little more room to the right would have been better. Sorry about the mistaken name ...., he looked blue to me!
