This time of year is always exciting in certain parts of Puget Sound, when the tide is low and the Midshipmen are trapped in the tide pools. Eagle activity can be very good at these times, but not always, but on this morning there weren't that many eagles but of those that showed up they gave me a few interesting looks.

Incredible set!! The quality of the shots is stunning. Well done Louie👍👍👍👍

STUNNINGLY delightful images! Love #3 and 4. And the scale on #5 seems unreal! LOL! And #6 is my fav!
Thanks very much Karen, #5 looks almost unreal but I assure you this is exactly how I took the image. It looks like the smaller eagle is too small but that was the action as I photographed it.

Yes, I've had that happen to me, also! I like THIS IMAGE, but most folks say something is "off" with the scale. Other than a crop, this is the image out of the camera. Even @Steve thought it strange, and he was standing next to me when I shot it! LOL! Folks ask me if I pasted the BIF into the image!

Well, I'm glad to hear that you've experienced the same issue. I don't have an explanation for it, maybe Steve has some thoughts. Thanks again Karen.

Louie top notch set. I took a similar image to yours on Thursday which was the day after you were there. I think my eagles in scale looked similar. I think wing position has a lot to do with it and the females tend to be bigger I believe. I still remember the old days when we had the place to ourselves almost. No more. Hope to go one more time this year.
