Mama Raccoon

This mama raccoon (obviously nursing babies somewhere) used this fallen sycamore tree to cross the creek. It had fallen across the stream and she was using it for a bridge. The way she crossed it, I can pretty sure say it was not her first rodeo. There are some deep woods on the other side of this stream so I assume her babies were well hidden somewhere over there. The continuation of the species. Wish the babies were with her but still an interesting behavior. Maybe not the most perfect exposure or photo but I liked the intimate story it told of a mama heading back to take care of her babies. She was a sweet thing.
