What a cool caterpillar! For critique thoughts...
I'd fail back the brightness a bit and possibly crop a little closer too. His highlights are also bright, I'd try to tone those down just a bit.
Also, as a future in-the-field idea, I'd recommend taking a smaller diffuser - it can really help in harsh light and they can be had pretty inexpensively.
No matter what though - nice find!!
