Thanks Joe. I love this camera. I will be purchasing a FF mirrorless at some point (Z8) but not ready for the plunge yet.
I too always think to mention how I love that you continue to rock with the D500. It remains all about the photographer, not the camera!!

Thanks Steven. I still have much to learn. If is wasn’t for that 800 pf I’m not sure I would opt for the mirrorless. From my perspective I always opt for the lens that fits my needs best. Then I decide on the body. That’s how I came to Nikon in the first place.

Yup. I say that to folks all the time -- it's about Nikon glass for me and was my original deciding factor. Although at my talent levels, the differences between lenses (20 plus years ago) I'm sure I would not have been able to see LOL A friend has started to shoot film again so I'm pondering finding an F6 so I have something to hang my old f mount glass on (the stuff even the D6 doesn't like to talk to electronically) :)

I still have my Canon F1 from nearly 40 years ago. Using my canon 400f4.5 I shot a few rolls before I bought my D500.
Makes you appreciate autofocus😂
