Went for a hike in the Cascade Mountains of Washington, and while setting up to do some landscape shots, I was rudely interrupted by some mountain goats :).

@Bubbahotep @Ralph @Woodyg3 @Charles Loy @VTRich @Viathelens @MalcolmP - Thanks for the compliments!

@DRwyoming - Thanks, I tried to be aware of the compositions, but the first shots especially, happened so fast and I had been setting up for some mountain landscape shots when it popped up. After I was able to get back to my backpack and switch lenses, I could take a little more measured approach.

@DripDryMcFleye - Thank you. I think I tend to always crop in too tight both in camera and in post, and forget about incorporating a little more of the environment, which certainly works better for some images.

@NorthernFocus - Are you thinking of the guy that got fatally gored back in 2010? I had never heard of any other goat related fatality happening in the park, granted I've only been in the area since '99.

No. Back maybe mid-nineties. As I recall they found a guy dead at the bottom of a cliff and his camera up top. Film in his camera contained close up shots of goats. Authorities somehow concluded that a goat pushed him off the cliff.

Hello James,
So the goats "interrupted" your set up for landscape shots! Been keeping my eye on the Landscape Forum hoping to see more. It sure looks like a high potential location!
