Amazing birds. Researcher were out at Martha's Vineyard at night a number of years ago and noticed that a sleeping duck out on the water would disappear. The Snowy Owls were snatching them off the water and flying off with them.

That would have been something to witness!! I look forward to seeing them here every year!! Seeing 11 in one day is a personal best of mine.
