New Video - Tripod, Monopod, or Handheld? Which Is best?

Howdy Steve, thanks for all your videos :) Love them and learned a ton! I didn't find a topic for your first video on tripods, so posting here.
Which feet are you using on the 5-series tripod? are they the standard rubber feet Gitzo gives us out of the box (these)?
I don't think you talked about these in any tripod videos (might have missed it though) -- what are your thoughts on when to use which?
I don't think I ever saw a wildlife photographer use the "platform" gitzo feets (these) so I am wondering wether to just remove them and forget them and use the ones I linked above.

Thanks for your pointers!!

I'm just using what came with it :)

I've never messed too much with alternative feet for any of my gear - about the time something else would work better, they're way back in the car and you don't have time to switch 'em anyway! The regular rubber feet have always served me pretty well.

Thank you Steve, super quick reply! If they are good for you.. they are good for me ;)
Just swapped those "platform" feet with the regular feet from my new tripod.
Enjoy these holidays and happy new year ..(almost).

Great info as usual. Had an unexpected problem using a Wimberley m-100 mono gimbal head once changed from Nikon to Sony a7iv, with Sony 100-400 G lens. System requires Arca Swiss fittings and thought easiest would be to change Sony lens foot to another (Arca Swiss fitting) brand. Design of non sony lens foot brands does not leave enough space for your fingers to grip the R hand camera grip, so had to settle for Arca Swiss lens plate and not foot eg Kirk 310 or Wimberley P20.

To be clear I don't have much time using a full Wimberly on a monopod but it worked far better than the handful of monopod heads I've tried over the years. yes its heavy but hiking in snow is much easier, at least for me than lugging a heavy tripod with a Wimberly.
