Northern Mockingbird (common but beautiful bird)

A couple of recent images from my backyard. A resident bird that is very territorial, guarding the bird feeder that my wife supplies with meal worms (shot with the Sony a9ii + 600mm f4 + TC 2.0). I've been experimenting with the Sony system and am very impressed with the light weight, focus system, and image quality).

Very good advice. I'm able to reduce the highlights and whites a little but not much; this might be a tad better? However, I was in the backyard and mostly trying to see what the Sony a9ii + 600mm f4 + TC 2.0 could do at an extreme focal length. I'm really surprised (and pleased) that the system focuses so well with an aperture of f8. Thanks again, Bill

Very nice, in particular I like how the branches frame the bird. I also like the head posture and attention towards your lens. I suggest like the other people to bring the brightness down a bit. Very pleasing overall. The second image is perfect.
